The service includes a smartphone application that serves as a convenient tool to raise an alarm in case of injury, threat or emergency. Alarms can also be sent via an external button, without the need to open the app or unlock the phone.

For areas with poor coverage, there is also the possibility of alerts via SPOT transmitters, which use satellite communications to send signals – completely independent of the mobile network.

When an alarm is triggered, it goes directly to our manned alarm center, which is open around the clock, all year round. Staff trained in crisis management work here and act according to established procedures. They call the user and, if necessary, transfer the call to SOS Alarm for rapid assistance.
