GDM and Tommy Gustafsson received the “Well done for Sundsvall” award this week.
The prize, which is a novelty in Näringslivsbolaget in Sundsvall, is awarded to a company or organization that has done something “extra” in Sundsvall’s business community.
“Well done for Sundsvall” is an arena where you want to highlight, reward and show good role models in entrepreneurship.
Local councillor Magnus Sjödin calls GDM “a rocket in the IT industry”.
– The company has built a strong brand, aims to become Sweden’s best supplier of functional IT solutions and to grow by 25 percent per year, praised Magnus Sjödin.
– “It felt right with GDM now because they are active in a sector that has great difficulties in hiring young people, for example. That’s just one of GDM’s other good qualities”,

Tommy Gustavsson and his colleagues at GDM-konsult have taken off like a rocket in the IT sector’s keywords, service desk, operations and technology. This rocket ride has meant major changes in organization and customer base.
GDM-konsult has established itself as a strong brand and among its customers are SCA-Forest, HL-Display, Servanet, CSN, Sourcecom, Sundsvall Municipality and Permobil.
GDM-konsult has had an economic growth journey from 8 million in annual turnover to 54 million over a 9 year period. During the same period, the number of employees has increased from 5 to 75 people and another 5 positions are available today!
As an employer, GDM-konsult likes to see young people and preferably girls among the applicants for their services, this is a not entirely common attitude among IT companies in Sundsvall and the rest of Sweden.
GDM has a vision to be “Sweden’s best supplier of functional IT” and has a planned growth of 25% per year with associated staff needs.
