The IT company GDM in Sundsvall will take over Easit’s data center and operational services as of October 1, 2010.
– In addition to an expanded customer base and a complementary data center, this gives us better conditions to develop our capacity and “cloud services” for infrastructure, while strengthening our organization and our position as the region’s leading provider of ICT services, says Tommy Gustafsson CEO of GDM.
Easit is one of the pioneers of cloud computing, i.e. software and hardware purchased as a service over the Internet.
By GDM taking over the operation of Easit’s data center, both Easit and GDM strengthen their offerings.
– Our focus is on software and system development, and we are happy to have a successful Sundsvall company as a supplier of our infrastructure, says Easit’s CEO Ola Holm.
